Surgery in Bellshill linked to Covid outbreak
The Bruce Medical Centre in Bellshill has seen GPs out of commission- after every doctor was either confirmed with the virus or or told to self-isolate.
NHS Lanarkshire confirmed that the Pollock Street premises had contented with “challenges” in staffing terms.
Dr Linda Findlay, medical director of South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership said: “Action is underway to support the practice at this time to ensure service continuity and patient safety.”
She insisted that the practice was “continuing to provide urgent care services for patients at this time.”
