Kirkintilloch paper boy goes the extra mile for local pensioners
Pensioners Andy and Eustice who live at Border Way, would like to thank the secondary school youngster for his kindness as they self-isolate.
Andy contacted the Herald after the teenager demonstrated his community spirit.

Hide AdIn an email to your local paper, Andy said: “I want to let you know about our local paper delivery boy, Jack.
“We live in Border Way. This week, the Kirkintilloch Herald was posted through our door, wrapped in plastic... with 2 cream eggs inside!
“Attached was a note saying ‘don’t need to pay, if you need anything just call my number.’
“We both feel we have to tell people how kind Jack has been.

Hide Ad“He’s a quiet young lad and this has to be a commendation for Jack, a young school lad.
“His parents must be proud of him, having an attitude like this.
“WELL DONE JACK”.
