Motherwell care home launches art challenge for families to inspire residents at Easter

Parksprings Care Home in Motherwell is asking families to get in touch with pictures of Easter related drawings and craftwork so an online art gallery can be created for elderly residents.

It is hoped that the colourful creations will go some way to cheering up these senior citizens and a team of judges is already being assembled to say which ones are the best!

Plus the images involved will act as a morale booster that will extend way past Motherwell itself.

Organiser Rose Brennan said who set the challenge said: “I’m asking for everyone who is stuck at home bored to make a craft creation or picture for Easter and take a photograph of it.

“I will print it and make a gallery for our residents and send the pictures around the UK.

“It will be so much appreciated by all our wonderful residents.”

Entries should be sent to [email protected]

The closing date is Easter Monday.
