Power restored at Wishaw hospital
Health bosses at NHS Lanarkshire have confirmed that an emergency situation which affected University Hospital Wishaw yesterday (Tuesday) is no longer an issue.
We reported how emergency generators had to be used after a critical power outage - which saw ambulances re-directed to other hospitals.
However, we have since been contacted by NHS Lanarkshire - who stress that power has been fully restored and the hospital is operating as normal today.
