Cat, author of young adult titles including Torn, Entangled and Undone spoke to the Stanmore students about her favourite children’s book, Charlie And The Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl.

Cat said: “It was a fantastic day and I had a brilliant time talking to the pupils and reading an extract from my favourite kids book. The pupils got a chance to ask me some questions; I was told that they hadn’t had an author in the school before but it just shows that literacy can be open to everyone.
