Braehead Village Day 2014 Slideshow

THE sun was out as families in Braehead enjoyed the annual village day which brought to a close seven days of events.

Organised by members of Braehead Village Trust, the biggest week in the village calendar started off with a treasure hunt and culminated with lots of fun for all the family as they tried out the various activities at the Village Day.

Events included a milk race evening, a family night in the Last Shift Inn and an early bird breakfast in the same venue on Village Day itself, with plenty of food on offer to help locals stock up for the big day.

And come the afternoon, it wasn’t just the kids in the village who were enjoying themselves, as mums and dads also took part in various staged races.
