Show producers will be in Clydesdale in early November as part of a new BGT initiative of going to the public rather than the public travelling to them.

Organised by Carluke Young Farmers Club, the auditions will see a variety of acts performing for the chance to strut their stuff on the live shows in front of judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and David Walliams.

Carluke YFC secretary Fiona Parkin said: “As part of BGT’s initiative this year they are ‘going to’ the public rather than the public necessarily having to go to them.

“We hope to get singers, dancers, comedy acts and more from Lanarkshire and the surrounding areas to go along and audition for the chance of facing the real judges at the next stage.”

The Britain’s Got Talent auditions take place on Thursday, November 6, from 5pm to 7pm at Lanark Auction Market.
