Carluke Christian Easter Egg Hunt 2014 Slideshow

OVER 100 youngsters, from toddlers to P7 children, were successful in finding the chocolate in an Easter Egg hunt.

Carluke Christian Fellowship hid hundreds of plastic eggs around the Lifestyles hall, each containing a chocolate egg for the finder.

And some eggs earned the finders large Easter eggs.

“It was a great day,” said Claire Bridges, part of the Fellowship’s outreach team.

The event, on April 19, began with Brian Lowrie of Make a Difference Ministries putting over the Gospel message of the resurrection in a fun way, then the hunt was launched.

“Last year we had over 600 people and we were overwhelmed,” said Claire.

“So this year we split it into a morning session and an afternoon session and it was by ticket only. We had 50 kids in the morning and about 60 in the afternoon.”
