The RVS held its own baton pass challenge to celebrate the power of volunteering with Scots aged from two to 103 years old participating.

The first stage of the journey was in Clydesdale when the baton was picked up at the Hopetoun Arms Hotel in Leadhills before travelling along the Leadhills and Wanlockhead Railway.
