Comedy king in Biggar

COMEDIAN Josh Widdicombe is following such stars as Kevin Bridges and Fred MacAulay as he prepares to play this year’s Biggar Little Festival.

Josh began performing live in 2008 and was soon supporting stand-up comedians such Kevin Bridges, Michael McIntyre and Alan Carr on tour.

TV work on Stand Up For The Week and Mock The Week soon followed and he was also a main contributor to Channel 4’s daily alternative review of the Paralympics – The Last Leg with Adam Hills.

“Doing TV stuff is always a gamble,” said Josh.

“But working on The Last Leg meant that at least if it didn’t go so well I was still able to get tickets for the Paralympics!
