Douglas Heritage Society toasts 20th anniversary

MEMBERS of Douglas Heritage Society celebrated their museum’s 20th anniversary in style with a reception in the village’s St Bride’s Centre.

The anniversary, in recognition of the conversion of a former church in the village to the museum, was very well-attended.

Heritage Society chairman Ian Kane said: “We couldn’t keep going without the support of the local community. We receive donations and lots of people give their time to make sure we can remain open.”
