Douglasdale Players set for latest show

DOUGLASDALE Players are only days away from their annual show, staged in Douglas primary School.

The Players’ 36th annual production is this year is entitled Shreik and is an original script written by John Nimmo and brothers Kenny and Bruce Young.

The plot concerns an eligible young prince with an excellent singing voice who lives with his father and evil and jealous stepmother in the Land of Far, Far Away.

Suffice to say they there is an X-Factor type singing contest, some sorcery and many other nursery rhyme and fairytale characters.

The show runs from Wednesday, March 18, until Saturday, March 21, at 7.30pm in Douglas Primary School.
