SCOTLAND seems to have an ever-growing number of music festivals popping up every couple of years.

For the past five years, one of the best has been Doune The Rabbit Hole which has just announced its line up for this August.

This small-scale music and arts festival is welcoming the Peatbog Faeries, Japanese psych-rockers Acid Mother’s Temple and American DIY hero Jeffrey Lewis.

Doune is very much a hands-on festival with many of the artistes holding workshops for people to attend and, with RockNess, The Insider and The Big Tents festivals all being cancelled, you should consider heading on Doune.

The Doune The Rabbit Hole festival takes placed on the weekend of August 22-24 at the Cardross Estate near Port of Monteith.
