The townfolk have proved to be the most generous in Scotland when it comes to making donations of garments to the Clothing Bank recently positioned outside the Fire Station on Cleghorn Road, a fact being celebrated this week by the firefighters.

The large yellow box ‘bank’ was placed outside the station by the Fire Fighters Charity, one of 40 it has located around the country in partnership with Clyde Recycling.
