Follow Little Bo Peep and Lanark’s Panto Juniors

LITTLE Bo Peep might have lost her sheep but she’s almost certain to find a huge audience at Lanark Memorial Hall shortly.

This week tickets go on sale for the latest annual production by Lanark Panto Club’s Juniors, a show based on the classic nursery rhyme about the flummoxed wee shepherdess.

A spokeswoman for the Juniors – a group set up a few years ago as an offshoot of the highly successful and long-lived senior Lanark Panto Club – said that rehearsals are already “in full swing” for the production which will feature more than 70 primary school age youngsters from Lanark and the surrounding area.

That fact alone almost guarantees a hall full of proud mums, dads, grandparents and aunties and uncles but, even if you don’t happen to be related to any of the cast, the standard set by the Juniors’ shows so far means that a fun night of quality entertainment is in store for anyone who goes along to see our talented kids in action on Friday, October 10 and Saturday, October 11.

Tickets are now on sale from the Memorial Hall Box Office and, as demand for seats during the short run is expected to be high, it is probably wise not to tarry too long in getting yours.
