5. Get a pint at The Crown Creighton
The Crown Creighton is next, only a short walk from The Duke - the Crown is one of the oldest pubs in Dennistoun, run by the same family for decades. | Google Maps
6. The Alexandra
The Alexandra is another proper old school pub a short jaunt away, it looks very retro inside, but with a much friendlier clientele and staff than you might expect. | Contributed
7. The Snug
The Snug is the smallest cosiest wee pub in Dennistoun, if the wee snug at the back is available get yourself seated in the booth. Very comfy, lovely for a winter warmer. | Contributed
8. Get a seat at the Palais
Next up is the Palais, which pays direct homage to the old Dennistoun Palais, and has seen success in its own right thanks to it commitment and ties to the community on Duke Street. The food is pretty good too if you fancy another snack at this point. | Contributed
