The Italian restaurant will return to the East Renfrewshire town after 30 years

A much loved Italian restaurant is to return to Clarkston after over three decades.

Paolo’s will once again reopen in the town and will take over the premises which used to be home to Michaelangelo's on Helena Place. An opening date is yet to be confirmed but locals have shared their excitement at the restaurant returning.

Taking to social media, a staff member shared the exciting news saying: “After 30 years Paolo’s is back in Clarkston. We have taken over the old Michaelangelo's site. Our social media will be up and running next week, keep an eye out for our opening day. We will be open on Christmas Day and will be taking bookings soon.

“We are excited to welcome you all. Team Paolo’s.
