Glenerrol Limited had been seeking permission from Glasgow City Council to use part of Buchanan Street as an external seating area for Bread & Butter.

The area would have provided seating for 56 customers.

Council officials rejected the plans, citing the impact it could have on pedestrian access to other retail and office premises, among other reasons.
