Forth newsagent Mary Lindsay moves on

SHOP Manageress Mary Lindsay is moving on after decades of selling papers, including the Gazette, in Forth – but she’ll still be selling papers in her new post.

Mary finished up on Friday after working for 31 years in a newsagents in Forth and that was just in the shop; she was a paper girl before that, during her school years.

“I was probably about 12 when I started,” said Mary. “But it was in the family. My brothers did it before me.”
