German brass quintet on their way to Lanark

GERMANY’S most popular Brass Quintet are on their way to Scotland and will be stopping off in Lanark for a concert at Greyfriars Church next week.

Harmonic Brass are showing off their new programme in this country and are delighted to be coming to Clydesdale.

Greyfriars Church minister Rev Bryan Kerr said: “This is the first time the group is coming to the UK and we are very excited about it.”

This outstanding brass ensemble have been setting the benchmark in their country with a varied programme including pieces by Giuseppe Torelli, Bach and Ravell.

The concert will be accompanied by humorous announcements in between the music by the group’s French horn player Andreas Binder.

Harmonic Brass will be appearing at Greyfriars Church in Lanark on Wednesday, March 11, beginning at 7pm.
