Ginning is winning at the Avenue Shopping Centre

The Avenue shopping centre in Newton Mearns is launching its second '˜On The Avenue Lunch and Learn' session this week.

Aiming to develop your palate, The Avenue will become a hive of activity on September 29 and 30, holding a range of interactive sessions including a producer’s market, kids’ food activities, sampling and giveaways, along with Cook School Scotland offering informative cookery demonstrations.

The second session, ‘Dining on The Avenue’ will also see beGin from Glasgow’s Hilton host a gin themed talk and masterclass, which will include details of which foods partner perfectly with gin.

Michelle McCabe, centre manager, said: “We’re thrilled to have beGin and Cook School Scotland onboard for our second session, we want to be able to offer guests an experience which will be stress free and informative, along with being a fun day out for everyone. These VIP sessions are a great way for us to engage with our loyal customers and enhance their shopping experience.”

Sessions are as follows: Cook School Scotland – 11.30am, 1.30pm, 3.30pm (September 29 and 30); BeGin – noon, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm (September 29). To find out more, email [email protected].
