The 2014 event, organised by Wiston Lodge, is being held on August 30 and 31 and involves walkers going up and down Tinto Hill seven-and-a-half times - the equivalent of climbing the world’s largest mountain above sea level.

This year, participants can raise money for their own charity as well as Wiston Lodge and Moffat Mountain Rescue Team, on a ‘half and half’ basis.
