Japanese illustrator in partnership with Lanark’s Border Biscuits
Lanark-based Border Biscuits has formed a unique partnership with an up-and-coming Japanese illustrator to tell the company’s story on its website.
Yuko Inoue’s designs were first discovered by the company on her online blog.
Her images made such a lasting impression that she was invited to Lanark to spend time at the factory with the biscuit-baking team to inspire even more drawings.
Yuko (35) said: “Being invited to visit the home of Border Biscuits in Lanark was fantastic and I received a very warm welcome.
