Lanark couple James and Agnes McLean celebrate 60 years of marriage
A COUPLE who met during the VE Day celebrations have now celebrated 60 years of marriage.
James and Agnes McLean, who now live in Lanark, had their Diamond Wedding anniversary on December 8.
James and Agnes (nee Black) met in Coatbridge Swimming Baths at a midnight celebration of the end of the war in Europe, Victory in Europe Day, in 1945.
