Lanark Round Table celebrates 50 years
ALL the guests at Lanark and District Round Table’s 50th Charter Dinner were presented with a glass inscribed with the names of all 51 chairmen in the group’s history.
New Lanark Hotel was the venue for the celebrations on Friday, March 15.
Lanark Round Table’s Scott Warren told the Gazette afterwards that the dinner had gone superbly and was well attended by past members.
He added: “The dinner was excellent and the two speakers (ex-Scotland goalie Alan Rough and professional speaker Les Peters) did an excellent job in raising the roof.”
