Lanark’s Graeme Gracie cycles 52 miles for charity
THE aches and pains were definitely worth it for Graeme Gracie on Sunday morning following a super sponsored cycle the day before.
A hearty band of 55 cyclists had set off from Lanark bright and early the previous day to raise money for MS Revive, whose CEO Ian Morrison was in Lanark to see the fundraisers off on their journey.
Most, including Country Carpets owner Graeme, cycled the 52 miles to Beattock and back while a small number of semi-pros went on a more hazardous route, totalling 78 miles.
