LOCAL band Ledd Zepp are following in the footsteps of their heroes by recreating the Celebration Day Concert by rock legends Led Zeppelin staged in December 2007.

That memorable performance at London’s O2 Arena – featuring founder members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones – is the inspiration for Ledd Zepp’s upcoming show at Motherwell Civic Concert Hall on Saturday, February 28.

Carluke-born Ledd Zepp band member Jack Nimmo, aka legendary guitarist Page, said: “Twenty million people from around the world applied for tickets for that gig, such was the phenomenal interest in it.”
