TODAY sees the Victoria Park School fundraiser, in St Athanasius Community Hall, Carluke, from 10am until noon.

In Carnwath the Development Group has a May Fayre in the Town Hall from 1pm to 4pm.

And at 6.30pm 4th Carluke Boys’ Brigade hold their treasure hunt, starting at Moor Park.

Tonight Clydesdale band The Dukes of Uke are looking forward to playing some old favourites at their concert in Broughton Village Hall, at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £8 and are available from the Dukes of Uke website.

Lanark Memorial Hall sees the famous Scottish fiddle and accordion duo Phil Cunningham and Aly Bain, at 7.30pm.

And in Biggar Clydesdale Folk Club presents The Jaywalkers in the Corn Exchange at 8pm, while in the Elphinstone Stephen Patrick performs acoustic covers.
