The idea began when Maggie decided to raise funds for the charity following the great care they provided for dad Michael before he died of cancer at the age of 62.
Maggie’s Marie Curie concert takes place in Lanark Memorial Hall this Saturday and features Des McLean’s concert choir, solos from the talented Lewis Allan and Justine Riccomini, Shotts St Patricks Brass Band and well-kent Biggar folkies Haggerdash.

The Marie Curie fundraising concert takes place on Saturday, November 15, at 7.30pm.

Tickets, priced £10, are available by contacting the Box Office on 01555 667999.
