Leading the construction at Ashbrae is new site manager Andy Graham, McCarthy and Stone’s newest member of the production team. His 36-year career in construction, which includes 25 years as a site manager, ensures that work at Ashbrae is in experienced hands.

Since joining the team in June this year, Andy’s focus on delivering quality started from day one, as he explains: “McCarthy and Stone’s winning formula of its commitment to quality design and building delivery, but also its careful attention and consideration to provide the very best customer service and support, reflects my own approach to managing my sites.

“Each and every one of our employees, from the construction teams laying bricks, to the sales team in the office, plays an active role in turning the McCarthy and Stone vision into a reality. And I’m really excited to have the opportunity to join this team in Newton Mearns and play my part in getting everything absolutely perfect on-site – it’s my passion.

“There is simply nothing better than being able to hand over a quality home to a buyer. When you see the smile on their face when they move into their new property, it is the best job satisfaction you can have.

“I’m really looking forward to pushing on with construction here and having the opportunity to meet the homeowners who will ultimately move here to set up home for the next stage of their life.”

Heading up sales at the development is experienced sales consultant Joan MacAulay who arrives with nearly four years’ experience of selling Retirement Living apartments at McCarthy and Stone developments across the west of Scotland.

Joan is very excited to be able to sell one the first Lifestyle Living development in Newton Mearns as she adds: “I am really looking forward to selling the concept of Lifestyle Living, which is exclusively for buyers who are 55 and over.

“Ashbrae is the first development of its kind to be launched onto the property scene in Newton Mearns, and it represents an exciting proposition for the most discerning of homebuyers who are looking to enjoy a low maintenance lifestyle in an exceptional location – and with no compromise on design or build quality.

“Our range of apartments will be launched for sale off-plan, and it will be important for me to work closely together with Andy to make sure that we deliver exceptional apartments for each and every one of our homebuyers.

“The first apartments will be released for sale at our official sales launch on October 4at Parklands Country Club, and I would urge interested buyers to visit our website to register their details to find out more information closer to the date.”
