Volunteers wanted for Bearsden Rainbow unit

Local people have been knitting cosy hats to put pride of place on the iconic red postboxes as a fun activity.

Youngsters have been out and about on the trail and flagging up their finds on Facebook.

One local mum posted: “We found eight but there may be more. We walked just under three miles.”

Another posted: “This is fantastic – so much fun for everyone. Really made me smile and kept the children entertained.”
