Phoenix Flames continue to rise

After an amazing season, Phoenix Flames Cheerleaders are once again celebrating after qualifying for a trip to Worlds 2019.

The team placed ninth in the world in April at the USASF Worlds Dance Finals in Florida, and their home season then began with the entire team, of all age groups, participating at the BCA Nationals in Newcastle on May 26-27.

The Worlds Elite Team were left devastated when the results were announced and they knew that they did not stand a chance of receiving a bid for 2019.

The girls’ confidence was shattered. The Flames Family supported them and continued to support them in all ways.

The girls then went on to compete at Legacy Cheer & Dance event in Glasgow at the Emirates Arena where each age group/division were amazing and on a winning streak. This provided the girls with belief and helped regain their confidence.

Phoenix Flames’ final competition of the 2017/18 season was Jamfest in Liverpool at the Echo Arena on June 23-24 and the girls were feeling good although the competition was high and expectations of winning were a big ask.

The girls were all ready and they seemed very calm on the morning of the main event. All the supporters had all their lucky charms in the bags and we were ready for the final chance to begin.
