£16m contracts approved
This means that more than £31million of subsidised local bus contracts since the start of this year. The latest investment is in addition to the £15 million worth of contracts that SPT announced in January.
David Wilson, SPT operations committee chairman, said: “It is essential that communities across our region remain connected so that we all have the opportunity to engage with services whether for work and leisure across the West of Scotland. These services are often a lifeline for many at weekends and evenings.”
