Kettle star Anya Scott-Rodgers, from Lanark, can’t wait to get on stage at the Memorial Hall as it has been more than six years since she performed there.

Back then Anya, real name Hannah McConnell, was performing for drama group ICE in a production of musical Bat Boy.

Anya (27) said: “Last year when we came to Lanark we were in Greyfriars Church so I’m really looking forward to going back to the Memo.

“I’ve been to see a couple of shows there recently and I’m pleased to see it looking so good.

“I loved performing there when I was younger.”

This year’s Kettle singalong show is Jungle Party.

The Singing Kettle Jungle Party will be at Lanark Memorial Hall on Friday, June 13, at 10.30am.

Tickets are priced £10, with a family of four at £36 and groups of 10 or more £9.
