Volunteers welcome for Everest Tinto Challenge

IF you have ever fancied climbing the world’s largest mountain without leaving Clydesdale then you have the chance to this weekend.

The third Everest Tinto Challenge takes place this Saturday and Sunday and local hillwalkers are being urged to take part in the momentous challenge and raise money for charity in the process.

Wiston Lodge and Moffat Mountain Rescue Team jointly organise the event to raise funds for both organisations.

Participants can also fundraise for their own favourite charities on a ‘half and half’ basis.
