There is a family fun night in St John’s Scout Hall in Carluke for Open Arms Malawi while over in the Lifestyles Centre, Carluke Rovers Sportsman’s Dinner kicks-off at 7.30pm with guest speakers Tam Cowan (pictured), Eric Davidson and Phil Differ.

A cabaret night takes place in Douglas Victoria Bowling Club from 7pm while Mystery Train are providing the entertainment at Law Bowling Club.

It’s fun all the way at the New Lanark Mill Hotel from 7.30pm when Lanark YFC members have their annual dinner-dance while over at Coalburn Miners Welfare, the village’s IOR pipe band host its own Sportsman’s Dinner with guests Sandy Strang and Donald Findlay QC.
