Wild Wiston weekend
IT’S a good few centuries since Vikings rampaged through the tranquil Clydesdale countryside but, in a few days time, they’ll be back!
But there’s no need to lock up your daughters or bury your life savings in a nearby field; these 2012 Norse raiders are the friendly, homegrown variety – all the way from Glasgow.
They will be just some of the colourful cast of characters, from the historical to the mystical, invading Wiston Lodge near Biggar on the weekend of April 14 and 15 for its annual Great Spring Outdoor Spectacular.
