This 1984 supernatural comedy spectacular sees the odd-ball scientists getting kicked out of their cushy positions at a university in New York City.

They decide to set up shop in an old firehouse and become Ghostbusters –trapping ghosts, spirits and poltergeists for money.

They wise-crack their way through the city and stumble upon a gateway to another dimension, one which will release untold evil.

And only The Ghostbusters can save the Big Apple.

Starring Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd, Sigourney Weaver and featuring the iconic title song from Ray Parker Jr, Ghostbusters was a critical and commercial success, making it the highest grossing comedy of the 1980s.
