“With bacon from Ramsay of Carluke and Errington Cheeses we can be proud of the world class food produce on our doorstep.

“We’ve got great local companies like Border Biscuits in Lanark or R&W Scott in Carluke.

“That’s on top of all the top class food produced year after year by our local farmers.

“This Year of Food and Drink is a recognition of the hard work done by our food and drink producers as well as a drive to increase opportunities for the sector.
