85-year-old victim of housebreaking

An 85-year-old man was the victim of a housebreaking at his home address in Lammermoor Drive, Cumbernauld in the early hours of Friday morning last week.

The elderly householder was waken by his dog who was continually barking at around 2.15am

When he went downstairs the pensioner found the rear door of his house open.

He discovered a number of items had been taken including Toshiba tablet, a Dell laptop and a Kindle.
