A bright idea from St Luke’s entrepreneurs

Enterprising youngsters from St Luke’s have received backing from East Ren’s own Dragons’ Den for their winning business idea.

The inter schools competition encourages school pupils to come up with ideas to help the council save or make money.

St Luke’s students Emma Dunne, Gemma Howell, Shauna Docherty and Rachel Woods pitched an idea to use the school’s enterprise company to film events at local venues, to help promote them and increase footfall.

The winning team will now receive investment and support from ERC’s corporate management team to get filming at a venue near you.
