“We are keen to exchange lovely Glasgow and Clyde apples for bottles of cider. Apple donors (issued with an apple donor card - useful in an emergency) can also get a discount.“
Profits from the cider will be used to encourage more community orchards to be planted with Scottish heritage apple trees and, as his stall at the Fruit Day proclaimed, to make Scotland Fruitful.
John is based in Glasgow, but hopes to arrange a local pick-up point in the Clyde Valley to collect the apples.
