A journey of discovery for East Ren toddlers (and mums and dads)

All aboard— the PlayTalkRead bus is back in town.

The interactive play bus rolls into East Ren on Monday (May 11), starting at The Avenue before visiting Neilston Leisure Centre (May 12), Barrhead ARC (May 13) and Clarkston Halls (May 14).

Kitted out with games, DVDs, interactive books, a baby massage area and more for ages 0-3, the government initiative offers parents and carers of tots the time and resources to spend more time with baby - and aid their learning and development from an early age.

A spokeswoman for East Renfrewshire Council welcomed the bus, commenting: “Interaction between parents and their children aged 0-3 is of enormous value to their future development, not only in the short term, but in terms of their overall life chances.”

Daily sessions run at each site 10am-1pm and 2-4pm.
