Colour spilled through the streets of Lanark on Thursday morning in the annual Lanimer Day procession.
Here is a taste of it, from the massed bands and Cornets going up to take their place in the procession, to the overall winner, the Kranal Club’s Three Wishes, which picked up the Wallace Shield in the open class and then the Silver Bell Trophy for most outstanding on the move, with its genie perched on a gold lamp.
