All the fun of the summer fete and a £5,000 boost

The retailTRUST Summer Fete at Crookfur last weekend raised more than £5,000 for the charity.

Held at its Cottage Homes Crookfur Estate in Newton Mearns, the fete is an annual community event that is a must-go affair with fun for all the family, while raising money to keep the thriving Crookfur Estate working for all of its residents.

It is open to residents of the Crookfur Estate and their families and friends, as well as the local community.

There were also attendees from the local supermarkets which supported the summer fete, including Asda, Morrisons, Tesco, Wholefoods.

There was a barbecue and a drinks tent as well as an ice-cream van, craft stalls and home baking.

The retailTRUST is the leading charity dedicated to supporting the 4.5 million people currently working in retail and support service industries.

It has raised over £1million from corporates in retail and funding is ongoing. RetailTRUST’s helpline offers a range of services including free counselling, free legal advice, free debt advice, free hardship grants, free course funding and retirement housing throughout the UK.
