Amanda wins top caring award

Amanda Allan from Milngavie has won the Care Service Co-ordinator of the year award at the prestigious Scottish Care Awards 2016.

These awards set out to find the very best people in care and celebrate excellence across the sector, paying tribute to individuals who are outstanding in their work throughout Scotland.

Amanda said: “I was completely shocked but thrilled to win the award, I couldn’t believe it. I love every day, coming to work is a pleasure, it really is so important to feel like you are making a difference to someone’s life and here at Home Instead that is just what we do. I am really proud to work in care and would encourage other people to find out more about being a caregiver.”
