Appeal after teenage girl goes missing

Police are appealing to the public to help them find a missing teenager.

Caroline Williamson (16) may have travelled to the Glasgow area as she has links there.

She was last seen on Sunday, May 1, at around 1.40pm in Stirling town centre near to the train station.

She did not return home and officers are now appealing for help.

Caroline is described as 5ft 1ins tall, of medium build, with long dyed black hair that is usually tied up. She also has a small tattoo with the word ‘Jo-Jo’ written on her left hand with a small cross.

When she was last seen, she was wearing black leggings, a light blue t-shirt and trainers.

a police spokesman said: “We are keen to find her as soon as possible and keeping an open mind to the possibility that she may have travelled to Fife or Glasgow where she has a number of links.

“Anyone who has seen her or has information on her whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101 or speak to any officer.”
