Inspector Andrew Durnin at Cathcart Police Station said: “It is out of character for Caitlin to be out of contact with her family for such a long period of time and as such we are becoming increasingly concerned.

“Anyone who has seen her since 2am on Tuesday 28 August or knows of her present whereabouts is asked to contact police at Cathcart Police Office via telephone number 101 quoting incident number 1178 of 29 August 2018.

“I also appeal to Caitlin to get in touch with her family or police to let us know that she is safe and well.”
