“I’m delighted that more than 100 people have already signed up and I hope many more people take the opportunity to get active for an excellent cause, against the wonderful backdrop of Mugdock.

“There are no age restrictions so it’s a perfect opportunity for families to pull on their trainers and enjoy fresh air and exercise - helping to raise funds and change lives for the better into the bargain.

“The first Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile in Mugdock was a fantastic success - with a full capacity of 500 taking part - and I hope this year’s event will be equally popular - from youngsters with their mums and dads to super

sprinters up against the clock.”
