Athletes head to Hampden
East Renfrewshire’s sporting youngsters are off to the Diamond League Glasgow Grand Prix at Hampden this weekend.
Charity East Ren Good Causes was contacted by sponsor Sainsbury’s and offered 30 tickets, which founder Russell MacMillan divided between Giffnock North AAC, volunteers and carers.
Coach Dudley Walker commented: “Our young athletes were delighted and wish me to say a big thank you for the kind gesture.”
